Hot 70's in the air - Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2011

I've never really been one to have a certain kind of style, I could never categorize myself as vintage, bohemian or sophisticated, etc, I'm sort of ADD that way, I guess just like the rest of my lifestyle and also for the fact that I'm always trying to experiment everything, I could say that my style is really just eclectic, I could one day feel like wearing a boho look and the next something very dark and chic to the next wearing all sorts of prints and bright colors.  But I can say that I've developed a liking to certain things over the years, some being bright prints and colors specially the color purple, making Kenzo, L.A.M.B., Missoni, Versace,  DVF among others some of my faves. This automatically attracts me to a couple of fashion shows this season like the Marc Jacobs SS11, you just say the word amazing 70's print dresses and I'll be there, I'm loving all these looks from his collection, the rich colors, bright prints, flowing dresses and the big obilike flower belts specially.  Everything is this collection was perfect from the accessories to the make up and big frizzy hair.  Not only do I wish I could wear all these but also paste them on my walls as art.  We've also seen the 70's inspiration in other collections this springs like Anna Sui's which had a lovely Bohemian vibe to it, and also with the return of the wide leg pants, I guess 70's feel is in the air this season.

Eu nunca fui muito para ter um certo tipo de estilo, eu nunca consegui classificar meu estilo como vintage, edgy, boêmio ou sofisticada, etc, eu sou meia estranha dessa forma,eu acho que pelo fato de que eu estou sempre tentando experimentar tudo de vez, eu poderia dizer que meu estilo é realmente apenas eclético, um dia quero usar um look boho e o próximo algo meio edgy ou chique, e  no próximo usar estampas e cores, meu jeito de se vestir muda diariamente dependendo do meu humor.  Mas eu posso dizer que eu desenvolvi um gosto para certas coisas ao longo dos anos, como estampas e cores fortes, tornando estilistas como Kenzo, L.A.M.B., Missoni, Versace, DVF entre outros os  meus favoritos. Essa obsessão por estampas e cores automaticamente me atraiu a um algums desfiles de moda nesta temporada como o Marc Jacobs SS11 nas fotos acima, amei os vestidos lindos de festa com estampas do anos 70, amei varios looks cheio de cores ricas, estampas brilhantes, vestidos leves e longos e pricipalmente os cintos obi de flor.  Tudo nessa coleção foi perfeita dos acessórios para o make up e os grandes cabelos frizzy. Não só eu desejo poder  usar todas essas roupas mas também colá-las em minhas paredes como arte. Vimos essa mesma  inspiração dos anos 70  também em outras coleções essa temporada como Anna Sui que tinha uma vibe Bohemian e seventies nas ropuas lindas dela, e também com a volta de calças com pernas largas, acho que sensação dos anos 70 com certeza está no ar nesta temporada.

Loving the Topshop's Spring/Summer 11 Catalog looks, it never feels much like Winter here in Florida so I always find my self anxious about new summer looks and ideas.

Bootcut!

Who doesn't  love a hot pair of boots? Perfect for now, these beauties can make your winter look sizzle, my faves are definitely all the Jeffrey Campbells (his shoes have definitely become an obsession of mine) and the Alexander Wang bootie Ahh to die for. What are your favorites?


Então girls quem que  não ama uma botinha de vez em quando não é? Perfeito pra esse inverno (aqui nos EUA), elas totalmente deixa um look mais chic e cool, minhas preferidas acima são, definitivamente as de Jeffrey Campbell (os sapatos dele estão se tornando uma obsessão minha) e a bootie de Alexander Wang, nooossa muito linda!
