Color Blocked Interiors
All this color blocking for Summer is making me wish for bright colored interiors for my home. Love the mix of patterns and colors in these photos as inspiration.

A Grand Gesture
So I woke up this morning looking for some inspiration for my interior design projects and stumbled upon Ralph Lauren's new and superbly chic womens and home store, a Beaux Arts mansion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. I was never much of a fan of the Beaux Arts style or classical French interiors until recently when I've started having to research these styles for projects, I've now actually learned to appreciate all traditional styles and am in love with Baroque and Rococo. No one says it better than Lauren himself: "That’s always been my philosophy: timelessness, not trends, I like materials that get better with age, like leather, marble, and exotic woods, they provide a sense of value.”
Xoxo, Patricia
